The #CalderaTaronja decides the 7DAYS EuroCup champion

04/04/2017

Valencia Basket will count with the support of their #CalderaTaronja to face the game that will be the champion of the 2016-17 7DAYS EuroCup, the third of the final play-off against Unicaja (Wednesday 5, 20:30, Fonteta, Teledeporte / Eurosport2 / Euroleague TV). The Taronja team will try to extend its good streak as a local (not lost at home for more than five months and chains 22 wins in a row in the Fonteta) to lift its fourth continental title and thus get a place in the Euroleague next season. For this he will have to overcome an opponent who put him in real trouble in the first game of the EuroCup finals (which ended with the result of 68-62) and broke the good taronja streak against the Malaga team taking the second point of the playoff last friday. For this decisive game, coach Pedro Martínez regains the participation of the French international point guard Antoine Diot and maintains as the only absence the one of Slava Kravtsov.

Pedro Martínez: "We must have tension and confidence in our work"

Taronja coach Pedro Martínez in the previous press conference to say that "we have to try to play the game with the tension it requires, that it is easy to have, with the normality of doing the things we always train, trusting what we train in our players, knowing that there will be difficult times. In the first game there were two times that Unicaja was 10 points up and there we had a chord of a final, serene, quiet, playing as a team, not looking for individual solutions, looking for them in the group and in defense and that's what we are going To do and hopefully give us results"
