A dream for Elisa - One Team VI, Week IV

The fourth day of training of the sixth project of One Team with Valencia Basket served to learn the story of Elisa, a young woman from the neighborhood of Fuente de San Luís to whom the trust of the Santa Marta Project has allowed her to find and face a dream, to study to be aesthetic. This is his story.

Within the Santa Marta Project, Idaira Sánchez is her educator, "Elisa is a girl who has been with us for 6 years and evolution is seen, she was a complicated girl, with attitude problems and a difficult context". Idaira knows that working with Elisa was not easy, "it was very difficult for us to connect with her, it is what usually happens in her surroundings, which is difficult to connect, but once we connect, the evolution has been very good, very fast and very positive, there is still a lot to work, but it is going very well ".

Elisa appreciates and appreciates her, his gypsy condition was never a barrier to be treated as one more within the project, "they are always there, for the good and the bad, and they always give me advice when I'm wrong". But Elisa has it clear, "the Santa Marta project has helped me to really see what I want to be when I grow up, aesthetic." Conclusions in a complicated context, "girls in my neighborhood do not study, they left the institute. I want to get my career and then later I will get married. Tomorrow you can have your job, your house, your children, your car and your husband, and you do not have to be in the armchair waiting for the husband to bring the money, I work too. " It's time to get down to work.
