Last trip on Turkish Airlines Euroleague to visit the Panathinaikos court

29/03/2018

Valencia Basket has embarked this morning its last departure of the season in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague to visit the track of Panathinaikos Superfoods Athens (Friday 30, 20: 15h, OAKA, Movistar Sports 1) in match corresponding to day 29 of the maximum competition continental. With no mathematical options to draw a ticket for the quarterfinal playoff, the taronja team will try to extend its winning streak in two consecutive games in this competition and take a win in a court in which it won its only visit so far (in the season 2010-11). As endorsements to seek that victory against one of the best defenses of the competition, the taronja team has its good offensive moment in European competition (93 average points in the last three games) and its success from beyond the goal (13 triples per match with 50% success in those same three matches). Coach Txus Vidorreta will not be able to count on Bojan Dubljevic (Achilles tendinitis in his left leg) or Guillem Vives (left ankle) or Latavious Williams (sprained right ankle), who have stayed in Valencia to recover from their respective ailments and who join the long-term injured Antoine Diot as casualties for this match. Valencia Basket currently occupies the 12th position in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague with a balance of 11-17.
