The French power forward Louis Labeyrie (2.08m, Gonesse, 11/02/1992, 26 years) and the point guard Marina Lizarazu (1.72m, Madrid, 10/01/1995, 23 years) have been introduced this morning as new additions to Valencia Basket in an act that took place in the store that Pinturas Isaval has opened in L'Eliana. An event that was the first joint presentation of a new player and a new player of Valencia Basket in the same act.

Louis Labeyrie said in his first words as a player taronja that he feels "very happy to be in Valencia. It's a great city, with great basketball fans. I can not wait to see the Fonteta full of fans. I come to bring what the coach asks me to bring, although I think one of the things I can do best is to give energy to the team. It's something I'm going to do every time I'm on the court and that's what I'll at least give the team in each game" Asked about his objectives, Labeyrie is forceful in stating that "on an individual level, what I want is to win and at the team level, the only thing that matters to me is to help the team win".

For her part, Marina Lizarazu commented that "for me it is a pride to be in Valencia, to be part of this exciting project and to bring back the women's first division basketball. We are eager to work and compete now, to make ourselves known in the Liga Dia. I think we have a very hardworking team and we will give a lot to talk about. Thanks to Valencia Basket for giving me the opportunity to come to a place that supports women's basketball in this way, I think Valencia is becoming the city of women's basketball. And I hope many teams follow the example we want to give support to women's sport and women in the sports field"
