Hard final straight to defend the home-court advantage

06/05/2019

Valencia Basket has started this morning with the first practice after the win vs. Cafés Candelas Breogán to prepare the double-game week that will take the taronja squad first to visit the court of the leader Barça Lassa (Friday 10, 9:30 p.m., Palau Blaugrana, Movistar +) and later to host Movistar Estudiantes in the Fonteta (round 32, Sunday 12, 17:00h, Movistar +) before a break of 9 days prior to their next Endesa League game.

The taronja team certified their presence in the Endesa League Playoffs for the 13th consecutive season after their win on Saturday and the results of round 30 certified that Valencia Basket would in no case fall below the fifth position at the end of the Regular Season. The next objective is to consolidate the fourth position currently occupied by the taronja squad and that brings the seeded condition and the home-court advantage in the Playoff Quarterfinals. Valencia Basket needs to win two of the four remaining games or win at least one and Unicaja loses one of their games.
