With the Liga Endesa title still very recent, Valencia Basket traveled to the island of Gran Canaria to face a new title, the Endesa Supercopa. In the semifinals, Valencia Basket got rid of Unicaja in a duel matched in all its phases that would be resolved in the last actions by a newcomer Erik Green.


In the final, Valencia Basket of the newcomer Txus Vidorreta remade in a tough game against Herbalife Gran Canaria, the home team, which was winning by double digits in the second half.
