J3 WC: Colom and Labeyrie advance undefeated; Dubljevic and Ndour, with new objectives

05/09/2019

The last day of the first round in the FIBA World Cup has repeated the script of the first two for our players. Victories of France and Spain that advance to the second round with a 3-0 in their standings. Good games of ours players but defeats of Senegal and Montenegro. Quino Colom again left good feelings in his minutes on the court in command of the Spanish National Team that closed the first round with a 73-65 victory against Iran. Labeyrie could not play in the triumph of France against the Dominican Republic (56-90) as a precaution due to the discomfort that dragged on the back of the left thigh.

The selections of Maurice Ndour and Bojan Dubljevic have finished the first group stage without knowing the victory and will now face a second round in which they no longer opt for the title but where much remains at stake. And that will lead them to finish competing on Monday, September 9, the day from which they will come to Valencia to join the taronja pre-season.
