Hard test for the taronja good moment visiting the court of Real Madrid

05/01/2020

Valencia Basket closes the 16th round of the Endesa League visiting the court of Real Madrid (Monday 6, 18: 00h, Wizink Center, #Vamos) with the complicated task of trying to add a victory that would certify virtually (although not mathematically) the goal of being in the Copa del Rey de Málaga. To do this, the taronja squad would not only have to win on a track where no one has won this season, but also break its bad dynamics on a court where he has lost in his last six visits in national competition.

Coach Jaume Ponsarnau will reach in this clash the 300 games as first coach in ACB and Fernando San Emeterio can reach 600 in this competition. The taronja expedition leaves this afternoon to Madrid with its 14 professional players available, since Maurice Ndour has recovered from the trauma in his right thigh that prevented him from playing Friday in the Euroleague game.

Guillem Vives and Brock Motum are the two players not listed for the Endesa League, so if the coaching staff wants to have them for this game they must replace them with another teammate before 2:00 p.m. on Monday morning. With the rest of this round games played, Valencia Basket starts it in the 8th position, with a balance of 8-7.
