Valencia Basket repeats in Russia to visit the court of an improved Zenit St.Petersburg

16/01/2020

Valencia Basket repeats clash in Russia three days after getting its first win on the Khimki Moscow Region court, and does so with the opportunity to take the Zenit St. Petersburg court for the first time (Friday 17, 18: 00h, Sibur Arena , DAZN) in a Turkish Airlines Euroleague round 20 game.

The Taronja team landed yesterday in the jewel of the Baltic and will have two training sessions to prepare their confrontation against an opponent that although it has the worst home games balance in the Euroleague (2-7 in the Sibur Arena), has greatly improved its performance to get out of the standings last spot.

Valencia Basket has the opportunity to extend a dynamic as a visitor in the Euroleague that is already the best in its history and to achieve for the first time chaining three wins in a row as a visitor. To do this, you will have to minimize the contribution of the inside game of the blue team, led by Will Thomas and Gustavo Ayón, without any of our pure centers.

Mike Tobey (soleus right leg) and Captain Bojan Dubljevic (right ankle sprain) will continue sidelined in this game. Valencia Basket comes to this game in the ninth position of the Euroleague, with a balance of 9-10 and only one point away from the Playoff positions.
