One Team Games will get to La Fonteta twice

07/12/2020

From Monday, December 7, until Friday 11th, all the teams participating in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup are holding a very special celebration, the One Team Games. This initiative seeks to focus on the corporate social responsibility programs that clubs carry out each season under the umbrella of Euroleague Basketball to promote well-being and social inclusion in their communities.

Although adapted to the current health situation and with all the security measures, the One Team program wants to ensure that none of these groups stop benefiting from this initiative. That is why Valencia Basket will once again collaborate with CaixaBank (through the “la Caixa” Foundation) to develop its tenth One Team program at L’Alqueria del Basket, in this case alongside IES Peset Aleixandre de Paterna. Again with the aim that young people, through the practice of basketball, live positive experiences and develop healthy habits of personal improvement, using our sport as a vehicle to share social values.

The fact that Valencia Basket plays two home-games of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague during the next week will see the One Team Games arrive to Fonteta twice, both in the postponed game of round 4 against Zenit St. Petersburg (Tuesday 8, 9:00 p.m.) as in the game on round 13 against Anadolu Efes Istanbul (Thursday 10, 9:00 p.m.). Before, during and after these two games, different initiatives will be developed to highlight the values and importance of the One Team program, with special importance for the two Taronja ambassadors chosen for this season (Derrick Williams and Martin Hermannsson) who will develop various activities related to the program during the week and will come to both games wearing a special #WeAreAllOneTeam hoodie to give visibility to the program.. Although the main protagonists will be the boys and girls participating in this tenth Valencia Basket ‘One Team’, who will have an important participation during the two games this week before starting their passage through the program.
