Valencia Basket closes the Taronja European Tour looking for its first win in Tel Aviv

03/03/2021

Valencia Basket closes its European tour with the fourth and last away-game in a row from La Fonteta, which in this case will take the taronja squad to visit one of the courts where has never been able to win, the Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv’s one (Thursday 4, 20:05, Menora Mivtachim Arena, DAZN/#Vamos) in game of round 28 of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The taronja squad will seek their first victory on this court after seeing an intractable Anadolu Efes Istanbul cut their streak in European competition and will try to recover all the energy possible to close this tour in the best way before returning home after the game.

With the memory of the comeback to end up taking the win in the last play of the game of the first leg and the importance of the games growing as the margin of error shortens, Ponsarnau's men will have to try to impose their accuracy in the offense and controlling the fight under the hoops, where the Israeli team is one of the best in the competition.

Guillem Vives (back) remains sidelined but the thirteen players who traveled to Tel Aviv this morning are available for the game. Valencia Basket currently occupies the tenth position of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, with a balance of 14-13, a victory away from the cut for the Playoff pending the result of Fenerbahçe Beko Istanbul in their game tonight.
