27/05/2021

Just two weeks after Valencia Basket took a step forward in its global basketball project, announcing the start of its journey in the 3x3 world with professional men's and women's teams, we already know the six visible faces that, with MIDEA Frigicoll as sponsor, will wear the taronja in some of the appointments of the women's circuit next summer.

The taronja entity, first ACB and Endesa Women's League club to also have teams competing in professional circuit of this modality, will have in its women's team a mix of familiar faces in the circuit and taronja players who will debut in the modality, after learning in the 5x5. These will be the taronja players in the year in which this basketball discipline debuts as an Olympic sport in Tokyo:

Lorena Segura (Valencia): After announcing her resign in the Valencia Basket women's team, the first player to be included in the Mur dels Somnis will now debut in this discipline. This season she has accumulated minutes of experience in Liga Femenina Endesa, which will surely help her in adapting to this new adventure.

Claudia Contell (Valencia): A great year in Liga Femenina 2 with Nou Bàsquet Paterna Proyecto Lázarus and the debut with Valencia Basket endorse another of the three players who will be part of Mur dels Somnis. Her great numbers this year will surely make her gain confidence to start in this new modality with good foot.

Celia García (Valladolid): Called up with the Spanish 3x3 senior national team last November. After her stay in the NCAA D1, she played in LF1 with Zamarat. This season has been one of the top national scorers in LF2 with a classic of the competition as Celta Zorka Recalvi. Professional in the 3x3 circuit since 2017 with "Pucelaikas" with several championships and runner-ups.

Cecilia Aldecoa (Valladolid): Spanish national team champion twice and Spanish club runner-up also twice. 5 years of experience competing in Liga Femenina 2 and since 2017 also competing 3x3 in several circuits at national level.

Clara Rodríguez (Valladolid): Player of Pacisa Alcobendas in Liga Femenina 2, competing since 2017 in 3x3 circuits at Spain. International in youth national teams, bronze in the 2014 U18 European Championship and runner-up in Spain in a club.

Noelia Pariente (Valladolid): 5 years of experience in Liga Femenina 2 and one in Liga Femenina. Runner-up in Spain in a club. Ponce player in first national league and competing regularly in 3x3 tournaments at national level.
