Valencia Basket seeks to become strong at home vs. Gran Canaria in the 7DAYS EuroCup

02/11/2021

Valencia Basket faces the second of its three consecutive home games seeking to recover feelings and become strong at home in the visit of a team in good shape like Gran Canaria (Wednesday 3, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN / Movistar dial 59) in a 7DAYS EuroCup group B round 3 game.

The taronja squad will try to put their previous bad week behind in a game in which Bojan Dubljevic is four points shy from becoming the highest scorer in the history of the Club in the 7DAYS EuroCup. It will be the first time that Valencia Basket will face the Claretian team in European competitions, which also becomes the 100th opponent in the European history and the ninth Spanish rival of the taronja team in European tournaments (with a positive balance in confrontations against Spanish rivals in Europe in the Fonteta of 16 victories and 6 losses).

Coach Joan Peñarroya recovers point guard Sam Van Rossom to extend the available professional squad players to nine, as he maintains sidelined the long-term injured players Victor Claver, Mike Tobey and Neno Dimitrijevic. Valencia Basket is currently fourth in group B with a record of 1-1.
