8th Worcester International Camp

From August 16 to 23, 2025

The Camp will be held from August 16 to 23, 2025, for young people between 11 and 18 years old at the facilities of the University of Worcester (UK). A novel experience that will combine the learning of basketball with the opportunity to practice and learn the English language, internationalizing the more than 25 years of experience of Valencia Basket in the organization of the Camp.

The Worcester-Valencia Basket Club International Camp will also have the participation of young English and other nationalities, which will allow a unique experience for all participants.

Two of the leading basketball clubs, in the United Kingdom and Spain, join forces again to develop a unique summer experience for the most talented and promising youngsters. The Camp technical team will be made up of members of the coaching staff and players from the Senior team of the Worcester Wolves and the sports coordination of the Valencia Basket coaches.

New procedure 2025.

This procedure must be completed by each family as a requirement to be able to travel.

On January 8, 2025, the need to complete the ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) came into force for non-European passengers to enter or transit the United Kingdom.
European citizens will be able to start the application process from March 5, 2025, which will allow them to travel to the United Kingdom from April 2, 2025.

– It is recommended to request the ETA as soon as possible after the system is enabled on the indicated dates.
– To manage the ETA and obtain detailed information, travelers should visit the official UK Government website (www.gov.uk/electronictravelauthorisation).
– Make sure that the passport is in order and that the information matches the information on the application. Any discrepancies could result in refusal of entry to the UK.

Cost: €1,350 before March 31, 2025, from that date the price may be increased.

This edition comes with many new features! Multi-adventure in Lakeside to be done during the week, video sessions and talks, and cultural activity to be determined in the near future.

If you leave, you must notify the secretariat of L'Alqueria del Basket (C/ Bomber Ramon Duart, 7) or on 96 121 55 43 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.

If payment is not made within the established period, the place will be considered lost.

THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO CHARGE 5€ FOR EXPENSES INCURRED IN CASE OF RETURN OF THE RECEIPT AND AGAIN.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE:

WITH THE REGISTRATION YOU ARE ACCEPTING THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  1. All participants must have processed minor travel authorization in the National Police. It must be validated and signed in person at any police station: https://sede.policia.gob.es/portalCiudadano/sede_electronica/ciudadanos/declaracion_permiso_viaje_menores.pdf
  2. Registration will be formalized after receiving this duly completed form and a deposit of 550€ per participant.
  3. The deposit of 550 euros is non-refundable.
  4. The organization must receive full payment of the Camp by June 1, 2025 as the deadline. Worcester Valencia Basket reserves the right to cancel any registration that has not been paid in full on that day.
  5. To pay the remaining amount of the registration, you must make a bank transfer to the account number: ES08-3159-0009-99-2342768922 of Caixa Popular
  6. The price of the Camp includes the check-in of luggage on the flight, up to a maximum of 20 kg.
  7. It is mandatory that all participants carry the European Health Card, or failing that, private medical insurance documentation valid for the United Kingdom.
  8. If Worcester Valencia Basket cancels the Camp, the registration fee or, if applicable, the amount paid, will be refunded in full.
  9. We will contact you via email or phone, using the information on this registration form. It is your responsibility to notify the organization of any changes in the data. Worcester Valencia Basket will not be responsible for any failure to notify us of data changes.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  1. If for any reason the reservation is canceled by the participant, the deposits will not be refundable, as well as the amount of the flight if the firm reservation of the tickets has already been made.
  2. The amount of the Camp will not be refundable if the registration is made and accepted within the month prior to the date of the Camp.
  3. In the event of a last-minute cancellation due to confirmed Covid, Valencia Basket will only return the amounts paid that have been recovered after the cancellation of the different contracted services.
  4. To contract any additional cancellation insurance, consult with the organization.
  5. In the event that the organization cancels the Camp, all amounts paid will be refunded.
