14/01/2017

In the sixth session of the fifth edition of the One Team, it is time to get to know Celeste and her mother Dadeiva in depth, part of a Bolivian family that day by day rebuilds itself. The daughter, in the footsteps of the mother, the mother, with the pride of her children as a base to continue advancing. We tell you his story.

Dadeiva came to Spain in 2007 from Bolivia, she did it to continue raising her two children, as the great responsible of a family that was never going to surrender before what was put forward, "I came from Bolivia looking for better opportunities for them" And she did it alone,"you have to be a mother and father to the two children, to the couple, and it is hard for moments. "

This does not go unnoticed for Celeste, her daughter, and "she has always tried to make us better, both me and my brother, and wants us to be someone in life, she has fought for us."

There is a connection that especially draws attention between mother and daughter, between Dadeiva and Celeste, basketball, a sport not common in Bolivia. A basket changed the taste of the mother, back in Bolivia many years ago, "I started playing football, and at age 12, I shot to a basket… and I liked it, I started to play in a team in town ... there were not many facilities, it was not a major sport. "

As if by magic, Celeste followed his footsteps when he arrived in Spain, "an institute teacher told me to try the basketball, I started to play... and I discovered that basketball makes me disconnect from the rest." Motivation is growing at times, "I like basketball so I try to motivate others to become more motivated."

Dadeiva observes the training from the band, "at first I did not give much credit to her about basketball, but I have seen that she likes it, and I can not hide it is something very special for me to play it." Once again, basketball as a vehicle, "I see myself totally reflected in it, I see it enjoy. My values are the only thing that I can leave to my children, is what will help them to move forward. "

Basketball can help build incredible stories.
