15/12/2016

In the fifth session of the fifth edition of the One Team, it is time to get to know Miguel Ángel Martínez in depth, a volunteer for the Ivy Project, who came two years ago as a volunteer to stay, "I have always played To basketball and Mari Carmen, Project Ivy, told me that they had participated in a basketball tournament and wanted to organize a team. I came to try one day and they liked it, and I kept coming every Thursday. "

Every Thursday, Miguel Ángel collaborates so that this project goes ahead, "every time I go home I am with a feeling that I can not explain, you are full, you are doing something well, you come, you see how they have fun ... and It's indescribable, it's wonderful. "

As trainer, Miguel Angel sees the work of the three coaches of Valencia Basket in the One Team as the one of reference work. Every week, Juanjo Rojo, Pepe Casares and Paco Pardo plan their sessions for the development of young people, "the work that coaches do is impressive, and it was helpful for us, changes were big, we recently played a game and people from of the other project congratulated us for such a big change. "

This Project has 10 practices, starting now, and finishing on February. We want youngsters to live positive experiences and healthy habits to be able to transfer them on scholarship or in their working experiences. Valencia Basket players Sam Van Rossom and Luke Sikma will take part on practices as ambassadors.
