Survival effort without reward on the Barça court (102-99)

Valencia Basket saw its winning streak cut short by eleven when it fell on Barça's court by 102-99 in a game in which it survived an almost perfect start in attack by the home team to stay in the game with skill and with an improvement in the second half, it came close on several occasions. With a surge in the final stages, it fought for the game until the end, getting within one point in the final seconds and having a triple from Jones to send the game to overtime, which did not go in. The orange team held on as best it could during the first twelve minutes of offensive efficiency from Barça and although it held on to the game with a partial of 0-11 after its biggest disadvantage, at the end of the first half the blue and red team stretched its lead again. Valencia Basket came out better after the break to get closer again, and despite the fact that Punter's offensive quality once again distanced the home team, the orange team found Jones, Reuvers or Montero in attack to hold on to the game. Although Parker's accuracy seemed to tip the match in the home side, Valencia Basket continued to fight until they had the chance to extend the match into overtime.
