Valencia Basket wants to take another step towards Copa del Rey vs. Herbalife Gran Canaria

Valencia Basket returns home to face the last home game of the Endesa League first leg hosting Herbalife Gran Canaria (Sunday 13, 19:30h, # Vamos) in the first time in which the yellow team returns to Fonteta since the last season’s quarterfinals series in which they left out the taronja squad. The men of Jaume Ponsarnau have the first chance to get the ticket mathematically for the Copa del Rey Madrid 2019, for which they would need to win their game against the Canarian team and that on Sunday morning Baxi Manresa and Tecnyconta Zaragoza lost their games.

 

In a game in which the captain Rafa Martinez can become all-Valencia Basket top scorer in the Endesa League, Sam Van Rossom could match the 254 games played with Valencia Basket of Flo Pietrus, matching the french forwars as the eighth player with most games in our history. With Sergi García already practicing after his wrist injury, coach Jaume Ponsarnau has again 13 players available, with Fernando San Emeterio (left leg biceps femoris) as the only sidelined player. Valencia Basket currently occupies the sixth position of the Endesa League, with a balance of 9 wins and 6 losses.
