Back to practice without the internationals Alberto Abalde and Bojan Dubljevic


After a few days of rest after the Copa del Rey Madrid 2019, Valencia Basket has returned to practices this morning with the mind set on the following commitments. With no games this week for national team clashes in the last qualifying window for the 2019 World Cup, the Taronja squad will compete again on Saturday, March 2 at 6:00 p.m., visiting the Delteco GBC’s court. Just before facing the first three-games week of the season with the first two matches of the 7DAYS EuroCup quarterfinals vs. Rytas Vilnius (on Tuesday 5 at 20:45 in Fonteta and Friday 8 at 18:00 in Lithuania) and the visit of the UCAM Murcia to the Fonteta on Sunday March 10 at 7:30 p.m.


The taronja squad has been divided into two groups to carry out the first practice of the day between the hardwood of La Fonteta and the gymnasium. This afternoon, the full group will return to the court for the first collective practice of the week. In this first practice, the two players who are concentrated with their national teams have been missing: Alberto Abalde with Spain and Bojan Dubljevic with Montenegro.
