Second round of the Endesa League semifinal repeating visit to the Real Madrid’s court

07/06/2019

After losing the first point of the series, Valencia Basket faces the second game of the Endesa League semifinals vs. Real Madrid (Saturday 8, 21:00h, Wizink Center, #Vamos) with the aim of recovering sensations and compete better in a game 2 that historically has always been favorable (the taronja squad has won three of the five "games 2" of  series against this opponent).

The taronja squad has two practice sessions in Madrid to work this game, although the distribution of minutes of the first game of the series and rest in a vortex of games every two days also seem key elements in the preview of this second match of the tie.

Both coach Jaume Ponsarnau and players Guillem Vives and Aaron Doornekamp did not want to hide behind excuses and were convinced that taronja performance will improve in the second game of this semi-final.

Shooting guard Matt Thomas, who continues with the recovery of the intervention to which he was subjected in the right thigh, still sidelined for this full series, but the team will have the support of a hundred taronja fans that will help the team from the stands of the Wizink Center.
