The guard Marina Lizarazu (1.72, Madrid, 10/01/1995, 24 years) has successfully passed the medical tests that were performed this morning at the IMED Valencia hospital, before the start of the preseason.

The player renewed this summer with Valencia Basket after having been a year without playing because of the injury she suffered in the 2018-19 preseason, now almost a year ago. Marina was operated and two weeks after the surgery began with her individual recovery apart from the season of the women's team, which has lasted until the final stretch of the summer. All with the aim of being able to be ready and arrive on time for the 2019-20 preseason.

Marina: "It seems that everything is going well and that I will be ready to start the preseason with the whole group"

The Valencia Basket player confessed after overcoming the medical review that “it has been a very different and very hard year, with a lot of work behind. Not only mine but all the technical staff and many people. It seems that everything is going well and that I will be ready to start the preseason with the group”.

After all this time watching his companions from outside, she feels “a lot of enthusiasm” to return: “It will be a new year, start a bit from scratch. Looking forward to working out with the group because I have done a lot of individual and more solitary work during the rest of the year. Looking forward to feeling part of the team”.

Regarding the expectations of a season in which they will play Eurocup Women too, Marina indicated that "I think we are all very excited and wanting to start this double competition and give everything to get the maximum possible victories”.
