Leadership secured in a historic victory in Namur (30-96)

Valencia Basket secures the group leadership of the EuroCup Women after a colossal victory that enters the annals of the Club's history, with one game left in the group stage. The Taronja team defeated Namur by a difference of 66 points, the highest ever achieved. The record was, precisely, in the first leg against this same rival in which Valencia Basket won by 50 points. In addition, the team had not conceded so few points since its passage through the first national category in 2015-16. Rubén Burgos' team overcame the absence of Cristina Ouviña and Raquel Carrera to offer a real show with five players in double figures: Lorena Segura (10 points), Marie Gülich (12 points), Bec Allen (14 points), Leticia Romero (15 points) and Ángela Salvadores (20 points). The team will now travel directly to La Seu where they will play on Sunday LF Endesa game.
