Valencia Basket lost the first game of their Endesa League quarterfinal series against Barça by 84-74 in a match in which, after an even first half, they could not hold the pull when a successful Mirotic found help of his classmates. On Friday at 9:00 p.m., Álex Mumbrú's men will have the support of La Fonteta so that the season does not end in the second game of this tie. The taronja team ran into the offensive success of Mirotic who first recovered the initial advantage that the taronja team got and then stretched the local lead to ten points in the second quarter, although the offensive appearance of Jones and Pradilla led to the reaction to leave with three down at intermission. A spark from Harper and Alexander put the orange box back on top at the start of the third quarter but Mirotic continued infallible from the triple and found the support of Satoransky and Abrines to shoot the local advantage. And although Valencia Basket pressed hard to not let go of the game, they couldn't get close enough to disturb the local victory.
