2014-15
1ª NACIONAL
Promotion phase

The beginning. The unfortunate disappearance of Ciudad Ros Casares brought with it the arrival of women's basketball to Valencia Basket. Since the summer of 2014, Valencia Basket integrated into its structure the women's youth teams, which would begin to play in the Malvarrosa Pavilion as headquarters.
The first Valencia Basket women's team would begin its competition in the National category, eventually third national division. A team formed by players with past in Ros Casares, generation mates in many cases, was put under the orders of José Canales.
Led by the experience of Begoña Palladó at point guard, first captain in the history of the section, the outside scoring of Sara Saiz and María Domenech or the inside versatility of the also captain Leles Muñoz or Rebeca Cotano, and the contribution of important players like Irene Sotos, Esther Díaz, Laura Domingo, Cristina Claver, Mireia Martínez or Marta Camarasa, the group was soon consolidated in the first two positions of the group, together with Picken Claret.
Players like Arantxa Gómez, common in the practices of the first team, or Sabina Carlí, Lucía Ripoll, Esther Rosa, or Estefanía Ors joined the rotation.
In the second group phase, Virginia Sáez joined the group after a long recovery, forming a squad that would arrive with options to the promotion phase to Liga Femenina 2. In that phase, formed by two groups in which only the group champion achieved promotion, a loss in the second game against Olímpico 64 Colegio Santa Gema truncated the dream of promotion in a first year of 23 wins and only 5 losses.
The promotion had to wait, but not for long.
