Home loss to UCAM Murcia (71-86)

Valencia Basket ended its good run in the Endesa League when it fell 71-86 at theFonteta Stadium to UCAM Murcia in a game in which they consistently trailed dueto a poor early setup and a lack of success from beyond the arc (1 of 17three-pointers at halftime and 8 of 37 at the halftime). The team improved inthe second quarter, but UCAM Murcia did find three-pointers to cut short allthe home side's good moments, leaving them eight points behind at halftime. Thevisiting team came out strong after the break and again stretched their lead toa maximum of fifteen points, although Valencia Basket did find some successfrom three-point range to get back into the game in the final quarter. Althoughthey managed to get within four, they again faced their problems scoring frombehind the arc and an opponent who played with great skill during those minutesto maintain their lead and secure the win.
