Defeat after two overtimes in a crazy game (125-128)

ValenciaBasket fell at the Fonteta Stadium after two overtimes by 125-128 to Baskoniain a game they held on to despite trailing for most of the match, sending thegame into the first overtime with a Montero three-pointer. In the firstovertime, it was Baskonia who held on when they were at their worst and forcedanother overtime with a Howard three-pointer. Montero missed the winning shot,and a second overtime was called, in which Baskonia found more success tosecure the victory. The orange team trailed from the start after a firstquarter in which they couldn't control Baskonia's offense, led by a successfulHoward, although they began to improve in the second half and reduced theirdeficit with intensity and points from captain Josep Puerto and Brancou Badio.Forrest twice halted the orange team's comeback, the second time after a 10-0home run that tied the game, so the deficit fell to eight points going into thefinal quarter. Although Valencia Basket came close again, Forrest once againsustained his team with offensive production and Sedekerskis scored a basketthat gave the Baskonia team a three-point lead, although a Montero triplebrought the first five minutes of extra basketball to the Fonteta.
