Four Taronja players and one additional invitee will join Spain's training camp in preparation for EuroBasket 2025

Four Valencia Basket players have been selected in the list of fourteen called up by national team coach Miguel Méndez, announced this morning, ahead of EuroBasket 2025, which will be held in the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, and Greece between June 18 and 29.

Raquel Carrera, Alba Torrens, Awa Fam, and Elena Buenavida (the latter two having played this past season on loan which ended yesterday with the Taronja team’s championship title at Lointek Gernika Bizkaia) are included in the national team roster that will begin training camp on Monday, May 19, in Madrid. In addition, Noa Morro, who spent this season on loan at Baxi Ferrol, has been selected as one of two invitees to help complete the training group.

The Women’s National Team will finalize its preparation for the tournament with four friendly games —two in Spain at the Illes Balears Tournament on May 30 and June 1, and two more in Portugal— before the official competition begins.

 Spain will play the group stage in Hamburg, Germany, and will kick off their tournament against Great Britain on Thursday, June 19, at 17:15. Sweden and host nation Germany will be their other two opponents in Group D. The top two teams from each group will advance to the medal round, which will be held in Greece.
