Ticket to the BKT EuroCup semi-finals by beating U-BT Cluj-Napoca (98-74)
In a match in which they led throughout after an excellent first quarter, but where they had to skillfully contain the visitors' late comeback, La Fonteta will host the first match of this best-of-three tie against Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv in a match scheduled for Tuesday, March 25. The orange team quickly took the lead with their outside shooting and built a lead that reached over 20 in the second quarter, but the Romanians reduced it when they found their shooters' three-pointers. The visiting team raised the physical bar of the match and with three-pointers, they came close to 12 on a couple of occasions, but Jones, Costello, and Montero appeared to thwart the visitors' comeback chances and secure the tenth orange semifinal in this competition.
