#TotsdeTaronja to host Barça at Fonteta

Valencia Basket men’s team is back at home to face their last game before the competition break for the Copa del Rey and national team games. The Taronja squad will host Barça (Sunday, 9th, 18:30h, Fonteta, Movistar Plus+/Movistar Deportes) in a round 20 Liga Endesa game.

 

The team will aim to continue its strong home form in the national competition, although absences due to physical problems accumulated throughout the week will mark the game. Ethan Happ, Sergio De Larrea, Amida Brimah, and Jaime Pradilla are not available for this match, while Dominican Jean Montero is a serious doubt due to a viral illness that has kept him off the practice court all week.

 

To make up for these absences, Pedro Martínez's team will count on the support of a full arena filled with the team's colors under the #TotsdeTaronja banner.

 

In a clash between two of the best offenses in the Liga Endesa, with six of the league’s most efficient three-point shooters on display, the taronja team will look to improve on their recent record, which hasn’t been favorable in the latest encounters (five away wins in the last seven visits). However, the teams are tied in the last four visits, with the match last season ending in a taronja victory.
