Tough test for Valencia Basket on the challenging court of Joventut Badalona

Valencia Basket men’s team returns to the road after two wins in a row at La Fonteta to visit the tough court of Joventut Badalona (Saturday 15, 18:00, Olímpic Badalona, Movistar Deportes) in a Liga Endesa round 23 game.

The orange team will aim to extend its good form after returning to competition on a court where it has not had much success recently. They have lost six of their last seven visits and are currently on a three-game losing streak at the black and green home court.

In a direct clash between two teams with aspirations to finish in the top four positions of the Liga Endesa, Pedro Martínez's men could extend their advantage over one of their main rivals if they manage to break that negative trend at the Olímpic de Badalona.

Valencia won the most recent meeting, the first-leg game, with a score of 84-60.

Dominican Jean Montero already played just under fifteen minutes in the midweek game in which the orange team secured their ticket to the semifinals of the BKT EuroCup, so long-term injured players Ethan Happ and Sergio De Larrea will miss this game.

Valencia Basket currently occupies the fourth position in the Liga Endesa with a record of 16-6.
