Valencia Basket closes a very hard week at Covirán Granada's court
Liga Endesa round 25

Valencia Basket men’s team wraps up its week of three games on the court of Covirán Granada (Sunday, 30th, 12:30 PM, Palacio de los Deportes, Movistar Deportes) in a round 25 Liga Endesa game, which they will have to face just 39 hours after the final buzzer of their second semifinal game of the BKT EuroCup against Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv, played in Bulgaria. And with the third game of that series on the horizon, set to be played on Wednesday at La Fonteta.
The men of Pedro Martínez will have to recover from the wear and tear to play their third game in six days after two grueling European competition games and gather all possible energy to face a desperate opponent and look for a win that will allow them to stay close to the teams fighting for positioning in the top part of the standings.
Although their historical record in this city is slightly favorable to the interests of Valencia Basket, they have always won at the Palacio de los Deportes since the promotion of Fundación CB Granada, and in the first-leg game, the Taronja squad recorded their best offensive first half in the Liga Endesa. They did so against an opponent that will only have six players available from that game and has undergone many changes in the roster.
In addition to the long-term injured Ethan Happ, point guard Chris Jones has left the Valencia team’s lineup due to discomfort in his left leg. The group will also include point guard Sergio De Larrea. However, his participation in the game is uncertain since he has not yet practiced with the team following his shoulder injury.
Valencia Basket is currently in third place in the Liga Endesa with an 18-6 record.
