Valencia Basket Players' Participation in the FIBA February Windows International games

Valencia Basket men's team is gradually regaining its players to begin preparing for their return to competition, which will come with the match of round 21 of the Liga Endesa on Saturday, March 1, at 18:00 against Casademont Zaragoza. This coincides with the phased return of the eight players who have been representing their national teams during the February windows.
The Spanish national team finished second in their group after closing the qualification phase with a loss to Latvia and a win over Belgium. Josep Puerto added games as an international, and Xabi López-Arostegui was the standout player in the victory over Belgium. Nate Reuvers missed the EuroBasket with Hungary despite winning both games in this window, while Stefan Jovic contributed in Serbia's second game to help the Plavi team finish the qualification phase undefeated.
Brancou Badio and Matt Costello helped Senegal and Ivory Coast become the only teams to secure their tickets for the 2025 Afrobasket without losing a game in the qualification phase. Chris Jones contributed 34 points to Armenia's win against Albania, keeping their hopes alive until the end. However, they were eliminated from the Second Round of European qualification for the 2027 World Cup. Meanwhile, Jean Montero played a key role in helping the Dominican Republic secure their two home wins to qualify for the FIBA AmeriCup 2025.
