Victory and average to get closer to, at least, third place in the Liga Endesa (84-75)
Liga Endesa game 27

Valencia Basket earned a hard-fought victory at Fonteta against Unicaja, taking an 84-75 victory and, by extension, the overall Basket Average. This victory consolidates the orange team's third place. Pedro Martínez's men took the lead from the outset with a strong start and remained in control of the game throughout, holding off Málaga's comebacks in the first and second quarters, which eventually brought them within one with some success from three-pointers and points from Montero to take control at halftime. Although the visiting team pressed again at the start of the second half, De Larrea and Badio led a moment of inspiration for the orange team, leading Valencia to a 12-0 run that extended their lead, although Unicaja responded with three-pointers to grab the lead. The final act was decided from behind, with both teams paying the price on offense for their efforts to block their basket, and two decisive defensive actions by Badio that served not only to seal the victory but also to recover the points difference from the first leg.
